“It is such an honor to be able to partner with John Deere in awarding these scholarships to local, well-deserving students.  Witnessing the growth and fruits of these students’ labor is very rewarding”, said Joe Hurst.

In 2016, more than 1,800 scholarships worth more than $2.6 million were awarded to FFA members through the National FFA Scholarship program, with over 114 sponsors participating in the program.  More than 8,300 students applied for these scholarships last year.  This year, scholarship applications are available online now at www.FFA.org/Scholarships, with the application process closing on Feb. 01, 2017.
